Information you choose to provide
MedEz does not require you to create an account or fill out a form to use this website. The only information MedEz receives is information you choose to send when you contact the business.
That usually includes:
- Your name or the name shown on your messaging profile
- The phone number, email address or Messenger profile you contact MedEz from
- Photos and descriptions of the supplies you would like a quote on
- Quantity, packaging condition and expiration dates
- General location information, if pickup or shipping is discussed
How MedEz receives your information
MedEz may receive contact and product information through text message, email or Facebook Messenger. Messages sent through those services are also handled by the mobile carrier, email provider or Meta according to their own policies, which MedEz does not control.
Please do not send medical or prescription information
MedEz does not want and does not ask for medical records, prescription details, diagnoses, patient information, insurance information or any other health information.
Before sending photos, please cross out or cover any name, prescription number or patient details printed on the pharmacy label. Leave the label on the box: peeling one off almost always tears the packaging, and a torn box is usually not something MedEz can buy. MedEz only needs to see the product, the packaging condition, the quantity and the expiration date.
If you send information of this kind by mistake, contact quotes@medezdirect.com and MedEz will delete it.
How your information is used
Information you send is used only to:
- Review your request and determine whether supplies may be eligible
- Respond to you with a no-obligation quote
- Arrange local pickup or an approved shipping option if you decide to move forward
- Keep a basic record of completed transactions for ordinary business purposes
Your information is not sold for advertising
MedEz does not sell, rent or trade your information for advertising or marketing purposes, and does not share it with data brokers or advertising networks.
This website does not track you
This website does not use cookies, analytics tools, advertising pixels or third-party trackers. Visiting the site does not create a profile of you. As with any website, the hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security and reliability.
How long messages are kept
MedEz may keep your messages and photos after a quote request is finished. The reason is practical: if you get in touch again later, the earlier conversation is already there, so you do not have to explain everything a second time and MedEz can recognize you as a returning seller.
Kept messages are used for that purpose only. They are not sold, rented, traded or used for advertising.
Requesting deletion of your information
You can ask MedEz to delete the messages, photos and contact details associated with your quote request at any time. Email quotes@medezdirect.com with the phone number, email address or Messenger name you used, and MedEz will delete what it holds, apart from any records it needs to keep for ordinary business or tax purposes.
You can also delete the conversation on your own device and, for Messenger, in your Facebook account.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
